Our Brentwood Staff

Cris Arnold is a native of Nashville. After graduating from Abilene Christian University, he returned to Nashville and began his career in the financial services industry with Mutual Of New York. Cris built a practice addressing the financial planning needs of business owners and professionals. On January 1, 2004, Cris formed an affiliation with a long-time friend, David McIllwain, and established AMF Financial. Cris and his wife, Alene, have two sons, Web and Hank and two daughters, Eli and Crisman.

Cris holds the designations CFP® and CLU. He also holds Series 7, 63 and 65 registrations. Cris is a member of the American Society of Financial Service Professionals, Financial Planning Association, and National Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors.

David McIllwain is a native of Hendersonville. He graduated from David Lipscomb University in 1987 with a degree in Accounting. He also earned a Masters in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and Economics from Indiana University in 1991. David is a CPA and spent 10 years in public accounting - 5 as a partner with Davidson, Golden & Lundy. In 1997, David entered the financial services industry and attained Series 7, 63 and 65 registrations. David spent the next 7 years working with Robinson-Humphrey, Inc. and Morgan Stanley. On January 1, 2004, David joined with Cris Arnold and established AMF Financial Group.

David and his wife, Christina, have three daughters, Tague, Sophie and Estee and one son, H. They currently live in Hendersonville.

Catherine Jones graduated from MTSU, with a Bachelors of Business Administration degree in Office Management.  For five years, she worked as a money market trader, which launched her banking career in investment banking and operations for another 10 years.  Catherine currently manages all client service operations, maintains state and corporate licensing, and is office manager.
